I was recently contacted via email by Baz Staple, Chairman and Archivist of the ‘Sunbeam Motorcycle Club‘, one of the longest established Club teams entering the ISDT. Baz asked if we would be willing to look after a few items that originated from C M ‘Bob’ Ray, to which I was more than willing to agree, subsequently in the post came a small bundle of treasure we are going to share here and ensure it is added to our growing collection of British ISDT artefacts, saving them from anonymity and oblivion.
The following images were taken by Professional Photographers

The bundle was topped off with an original copy of an event programme for the 1954 ISDT
The Devi’s Staircase looks a bit different now with tress cover and tarmac road, but still is abit difficult to negotiate, as many will agree.. If you have an incident here, your mobile phone might well not work….It’s only a mile or so to Abergwesyn…
Yes Brian.. I was about to go to Google Streetview and try get a modern day version…
