The last post of the year. Thank you to the many who helped me take Taff Isaac’s old archived site and putting it into a new body then breathing in new life with additional content. Not least my wife as I thought this was a 2 day job that now sucks up a few of the late hours of many days. The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog. It appears the ISDT attracts a healthy level of interest across the globe and not just with the traditional competing nations. Most popular content appears the be the 1939 ISDT and the history of big German BMW airhead twins. Sadly we lost Ken Heanes during the year and he is one of the most popular attractions for people coming to the site from searches and so I am hoping in the next year to produce a meaningful page on his history in the ISDT. Anyway thanks for dropping by without readers this would be a hard task to continue beyond giving the old site a rebirth.

Thanks from me and Taff for your help and efforts all the best to you in 2013 and let’s party like it’s 1913…. as it will be centenery year

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 46,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 11 Film Festivals
